Welcome to Fredericksburg Primary School!!!
I welcome the opportunity to be with each and every one of your kids this year at FPS. I was born and raised in Doss, TX and graduated from FHS in 1994. My wife, Marsha, also works for FISD as an educational diagnostician. Our oldest daughter, Ashley, is a senior at Texas A&M and will continue her education at the University of Nebraska this spring. My younger daughter, Addison, is a 10th grader at FHS. She is actively involved in band and in 4-H and FFA. We are very proud of both of our kids and look forward to their future.
I am starting my 24th year in education with 19 of those years being in Fredericksburg ISD. During these years, I have made various stops in San Angelo and McCamey before coming home to Fredericksburg in 2004. I spent the 6 years as the principal at the Gillespie County High School for FISD working with at-risk students helping them graduate before coming to FPS for the last 5 years. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with the students and staff here at FPS.
Mrs. Reeves has been described as a trendsetter.
Her former students describe her with one word, AWESOME!! She has continued her awesomeness as she has transitioned into her first year of being an assistant principal for the 2022-2023 school year at FPS.
FPS would like to welcome her to the team and wish her the best of luck this year in her endeavors filling her new role.
Welcome to FPS!!!
Being at FPS for the last 25 years has been a true blessing to me. Thank you for allowing your kids to be part of our journey this school year, and I cannot wait to see what the year will bring. FPS is a great place for children.
Fredericksburg has always been my home, I graduated from FHS and I am super proud of our school district. My husband Mike and I have 2 boys and 6 grandchildren, both boys also graduated from FHS.
FPS has always been my love, I taught Kindergarten for 10 years and this will be my 14th year as the school counselor. My goal is to make sure that every child on our campus feels like a rock star!! It is important they know we are here to keep them safe and love them no matter what. I am here to serve the children, the parents and our wonderful staff. Please feel free to contact me for anything and please let me know if you have a need or request for you or your child. At FPS, we strive to do what is best for the boys and girls.

3 Reasons You Should Read with your Child
1. Reading exposes your child to rich language and diverse content. Book language uses a larger vocabulary and more complex grammatical structures than the short, one-way communication we tend to use in feeding and caring for our children.
2. Reading with your children helps prepare their minds to succeed in school. The benefits of shared reading knows no age limits.
3. Reading with your child can enrich family ties and intimacy. Reading together is family time; it is fun time, cuddle time, a time to share your passions, perspective, and your values but also a time to listen.
